Ac Filter 20x20x4 How Is The Installed
Ac Filter 20x20x4 How Is The Installed Unit frame front installation Advantages: good sealing, standard filter installation method. Disadvantages: requires a large installation space; the installation frame cost is high.
Slide side push and pull installation Advantages: save installation space; save frame cost. Disadvantages: difficult to seal. Generally only recommended for primary filters.
----------------------------Primary filter----------------------------
When installing the paper frame primary filter, special attention should be paid to the filter inlet/outlet surfaces! The outer frame is moisture-resistant cardboard, so it doesn't matter if the humidity is high, but it cannot withstand immersion in liquid water. The outer frame of the filter soaked in water becomes soft, the filter material resistance increases greatly, and lodging may occur. Therefore, sufficient rain shelter measures should be considered during fresh air and use.
The paper frame primary filter can only be used once! The final resistance of the primary filter cannot be too high, and it is recommended to be 150Pa-200Pa. If the final resistance value is set too high, dust will penetrate and the set final resistance value may not be reached.

----------------------------Bag-type medium-efficiency filter----------------------------
Installation tips: The height and width of the filter cannot be reversed; the mechanical strength of the glass fiber filter material is poor, and it is very easy to be damaged if it is not properly operated; avoid touching the inside of the filter material when installing the filter; the filter material cannot be used as a force point during installation, otherwise it is easy to cause damage to the filter material. This often occurs in actual operation, and the user's installation workers should pay attention to it.
It is recommended that customers wear gloves to install the filter, because the filter bag fixing bracket may hurt the hands. If gloves are not worn, the worker will naturally hold the filter material! Cause filter material damage.

Final resistance: The final resistance of the bag medium-efficiency filter is recommended to be below 350Pa. Otherwise, when the filter is wetted by rain or when the air volume of the air conditioner changes, the resistance will rise instantly, which may exceed the structural strength of the filter and blow it apart!
The resistance of the chemical fiber filter will not rise again after it rises to a certain level, so there is rarely a problem of blowing apart. However, the resistance of the glass fiber filter will continue to rise as the use time increases. If it is not replaced, it will definitely be blown apart.

----------------------------Installation of clean room air filter----------------------------
Installation tips: W-type air filter products use the same installation frame as glass fiber bag air filter, and are compressed by buckles. For H10 and H13 W-type air filters, a better-sealed frame and a more powerful compression mechanism (frame four-corner bolt compression) are required. The frames must be sealed, such as with sealant.
The filter material of the W-type air filter (white pleated part, glass fiber filter paper) is more easily damaged than the filter material of the glass fiber bag air filter. When installing/carrying, hold the filter frame with your hand and do not touch the white filter material. Pay attention to the position of the fingers holding the frame. Inexperienced personnel often accidentally scratch the filter paper.
Final resistance: The final resistance of the medium-efficiency W-type air filter is recommended to be below 400Pa, otherwise when the filter is wet by rain or when the air volume of the air conditioner changes, the resistance will rise instantly, which may exceed the structural strength of the filter and blow it apart! The final resistance of the high-efficiency W-type air filter should be less than 600Pa.
Correct installation posture: Step 1: Hold the filter frame with both hands, put most of the filter into the installation frame and place it firmly; Step 2: Insert both hands into the V-shaped channel of the filter. Note: Do not touch the filter paper; Step 3: Hold the upper cover of the filter with both hands, lift the filter slightly, push it inward carefully, and install it close to the frame.
----------------------------V-type air filter----------------------------
The weight of the V-type high-efficiency filter (taking the 610x610x292 size product as an example, it is about 20kg);
V-type high-efficiency filters mostly use a pull rod installation frame. Be careful to avoid damage to the filter by the pull rod when installing the filter;
When installing, do not touch the fragile filter material by carrying the handle or the outer frame;
The final resistance should be recommended to customers to be less than 600Pa.
----------------------------Installation of air filters without partitions/with partitions----------------------------
The inner plastic packaging of filters without partitions/with partitions must be opened in the clean room;
Hold the outer frame of the filter with both hands when carrying and installing the filter;
At least two people are required to install larger filters, and pay attention to the protection of the gasket;
Do not support the middle part of the filter with your hands
Do not touch the filter material inside the filter.
1. After removing the old filter, be sure to clean the filter frame and related equipment before installing the new filter.
2. After the filter is installed, check whether the filter is installed correctly, and pay attention to the reset of the front and rear pressure measuring tubes;
3. Pay attention to the sealing of the installation frame and replace the damaged gasket.
4. Pay attention to the sealing between the frames. If necessary, use low-volatile sealant specially used for clean air to seal.

----------------------------How air filters are tested----------------------------
General ventilation filter test method--Laser particle counting test method (EUROVENT4/9)
Use artificial dust weight method to measure low-efficiency filters (EU1-EU4);
Use laser particle counter to measure high-efficiency filters (EU5-EU9);
Use laser particle counter to determine dust particle size and the number concentration of different particle sizes upstream and downstream;
Particle size range (0.2-5.0um);
The dust source is a multi-dispersed liquid aerosol (DEHS: diethyl hexyl sebacate).
Test method for high-efficiency filters one by one--Laser particle technology scanning test (EN1822: 1999)
The efficiency of air filters varies with dust particle size. At a certain particle size point, the efficiency is the lowest, that is, the penetration rate is the highest. This point is called the most penetrating particle size (MPPS). The MPPS point varies with the filter material and the filtering wind speed. For high-efficiency (HEPA) and ultra-high-efficiency (ULPA) air filters, MPPS is generally between 0.1-0.25μm.
In addition to normal penetration of the filter material, dust may also leak through the damaged filter material or the poor seal between the filter element and the outer frame. A HEPA/ULPA filter with qualified total efficiency may not necessarily have qualified point-by-point efficiency. For high-efficiency and ultra-high-efficiency filters used at the end of a unidirectional clean room, both the total filtration efficiency and the point-by-point efficiency must meet the specified values. Traditional total efficiency test methods such as the sodium flame method, oil mist method, DOP method, and smoke or variable air volume leak detection methods are not sensitive and accurate enough to meet this increasingly stringent requirement.

At the filtration wind speed of the filter to be tested, use condensation nucleus particle counting (CNC) or laser particle counting equipment to test the graded counting efficiency of the filter material used at different particle sizes to determine its MPPS.
At the specified surface wind speed (generally 0.45m/s), scan the filter outlet surface and test its point-by-point MPPS efficiency.
Based on the point-by-point MPPS efficiency, calculate the filter's total MPPS efficiency.
Based on the MPPS total efficiency and point-by-point efficiency, judge whether the filter meets the required level.
Organic liquids such as DOP, DEHS, and paraffin oil are easy to produce high-concentration artificial aerosols, so they are often used to test HEPA/ULPA filters.
