Chemical Air Filter

Chemical filters remove molecular contaminants from the air. In the field of ventilation and air conditioning, chemical filters use activated carbon as the main filter material. Activated carbon organic flocs with high carbon content, large molecular weight and large specific surface area physically adsorb impurities in water to meet water quality requirements. When water flows through the pores of activated carbon, various suspended particles, organic matter, etc. are adsorbed under the action of van der Waals forces. In the pores of the activated carbon; at the same time, the chlorine (hypochlorous acid) adsorbed on the surface of the activated carbon reacts chemically on the surface of the carbon and is reduced to chlorine ions, thereby effectively removing chlorine and ensuring that the residual chlorine in the effluent is less than 0.1ppm, which meets the requirements of the RO membrane operating conditions.
